Synopsis
In
the movie, three engineers at Kimura Electronics—Hiroki (Gaku Hamada),
Shinya (Junya Kawashima), and Koji (Shogo Kawai)—are tasked with
creating a bipedal robot that will boost the public image of the
company. Unfortunately, their clunky creation, “New Shiokaze”, ends up
destroying itself by walking straight out the window.
In order to salvage the situation and their jobs, they come up with a harebrained scheme to build a hollow New Shiokaze suit that a human can fit inside and mimic a real robot. After an audition, they settle on Suzuki (Mickey Curtis), a stubborn old-timer living alone.
